I like simple platformers like this! I think the level design could be a little more interesting since right now it feels like a jumble of blocks. Also I'd like it if I could control my jump height by holding spacebar more, since the jump felt a bit too high for many situations. I made it to the end with 25 seconds remaining!

Thanks for the feedback Fupicat! I agree the level design is a little dull. I was hesitant about having jump sustain as part of the challenge is timing the high jumps well to save time but agreed especially given how tight some of the jumps are it feels like overkill.

Unfortunately it's pretty buggy... it freezes every 2 seconds on the intro for a really long time, and pressing up and down scrolls the page. It looks like a pretty well made game but you should test it on the site before publishing :/ If you fix these let me know

Re @SlushieOFFICIAL - I think the freezes may be caused by shader compilation because of the effects you're using, every time a new effect comes on screen it freezes. Maybe triggering these effects before the intro, in a loading screen, might compile them beforehand and prevent the freezing. Hello! Unfortunately the intro freezing doesn't have a solution right now, I can try to get this fixed but it is odd as this seems to only be an issue when running the game online on Newgrounds specifically but for right now you are able to skip the opening intro by clicking enter or the A button if you're on controller. For the problem with the screen scrolling I didn't run into this when testing the game but that might be because I use shift to sprint when playing the game which seems to get rid of the scrolling, the down arrow is also never used during gameplay so I hadn't run into that problem. I apologize for the inconvenience and I will try to get this sorted out as soon as possible. Thank you!!

Very simple but stylish platformer! I think the jump would feel better if you could control your jump height by holding the key longer, since by default it feels way too high. Other than that, the up and down keys make the page scroll! It's not a problem on fullscreen but it can be fixed for Construct3 with a script tag.

Cute lil mazer! I got to the end with 5 deaths, the noise always startled me so maybe that could be a little lower? Also F7 doesn't disable scrolling with the arrow keys in my browser, I couldn't find out how to do it so I played with the page scrolling. Re: My time was like 5:60! I think WASD is a fine choice for controls too but I think it's useful to have that script for future games just to be sure.

Hey! It's fine for a school project, but as a game I'm sure you can make something better! I'd appreciate being able to skip the dialogue while it's being spoken too.

It's an okay flappy bird game, graphics are kinda blurry and the music doesn't fit the vibe, doesn't really feel like you're flapping either, since you need to hold the mouse button to go up, it's more like you're using a jetpack, maybe you could lean into that idea!
